Angel L. Velazquez, MD is a primary care sports medicine physician. He received his undergraduate degree at Universidad de Puerto Rico and his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara. He is Fifth Pathway certified, and completed his residency in family medicine at St. Elizabeth Medical Center and his fellowship in primary care sports medicine from Bethesda Family Medicine and Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.
Dr. Velazquez serves as assistant team physician for Moeller High School, Clinton Massie High School and Wittenberg University. He also assists Dr. Kremchek as a team physician for the Cincinnati Reds and all minor league affiliates.
Dr. Velazquez enjoys baseball, cooking, salsa music and dancing, as well as the outdoors. He is fluent in both written and spoken Spanish.
Dr. Velazquez sees patients at the Beacon Summit Woods location on 500 E Business Way.
